The Problem
Colombia's tech sector cannot find enough people, while millions of young Colombians cannot find a way in. In Bogotá, many public school graduates never continue into higher education, often because they simply cannot afford it. Without a clear pathway, they end up in informal, poorly paid work while companies leave tech jobs unfilled.
The Solution
TechDalo trains young people from underserved communities in Colombia (mainly Bogota) in fullstack development, AI and machine learning, cybersecurity, UX/UI design and data analysis, together with our local education partners.
Nobody pays upfront. Through an income share agreement, participants only contribute once they earn above a set income threshold, so money is never the reason someone stays out. With our partners, we reach the young people who need it most, and we connect graduates with Colombian companies looking for exactly these skills.
